This in-depth form of Kinesiology addresses the root causes of an issue, by uncovering core emotions behind it, rather than merely treating the symptoms. Holistic kinesiology seeks to promote long-term wellness, balance and overall vitality.

 

Holistic Kinesiology uses muscle-monitoring feedback to locate and identify the core stresses, issues and disharmony blocking the body’ s natural healing processes. Mind-body medicine is a branch of healthcare that recognises the powerful connection between the mind, body, and spirit. Mind-body medicine draws upon ancient wisdom, modern scientific research, and various therapeutic approaches to promote holistic healing.

Each Mind-Body Medicine session is individualised and tailored for you, the client, empowering you to begin your own natural healing process. In your first session we will take a thorough medical and lifestyle history. Through discussion we will work together to clarify the key issue to work on.

One prominent foundation of mind-body medicine is Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), which views the body as a dynamic system of energy flows. According to TCM, imbalances or blockages in the flow of energy can lead to physical ailments or emotional distress. We group symptoms (such as stagnation, which is the result of stressing feeling stuck)into several buckets and look at ways to help balance these from a unique TCM view.
